The Founder and Director of Facility Technology Services, Inc.™, Tabetha Chandler, has been a Security Professional for over 15 years. She has aided federal government contractors and has advised over 500 companies on physical, facility and personnel security matters, security continuity and industrial security investigations. She has also been involved in hundreds of government audits and surveys related to industrial security compliance.
Ms. Chandler has unique knowledge across the spectrum of facility security such as full business security compliance and FOCI (Foreign Ownership Control or Influence) requirements and how they relate to security issues. She has an in depth security, science and technical writing background that lends to her intense need to place policy, procedure, and documentation at the front of all work done for her customers.
Her motto is, “repeatability in actions lends to the economy of each process”. A popular speaker on security and women’s related business issues, Ms. Chandler has extensive experience in personnel and industrial security management, secure building design, federal law enforcement methods and forensic science studies. She has studied the subversive/criminal mind and is adept at training security officers to engage and understand their staff so they do not miss the subtle signs that may cause someone to compromise classified materials.
Tabetha was the CEO of Baume-Chandler Information Technology, Inc., (dba AIS TO GO), a Technology Infrastructure Design and Consulting Firm, of Sterling, VA. She has a Bachelors degree in Criminology/Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland at College Park in 1994.
Tabetha now devotes much of her time to business development, teaming efforts, her non-profit security education programs and speaking to business owners about current security trends.
Facility Technology Services, Inc.™ CEO, Bob Chandler has over 18 years of Network and Systems Integration expertise. He has worked with companies and government to design, implement and document networks and systems to be compliant and secure on an enterprise wide level. As a lead Technologist, Mr. Chandler is adept at seeing the needs of government and guide programs in a positive, economical and technologically diverse environment.
